Growl Agency has three offices located in Colorado. We spend time traveling between them, meeting clients and discussing projects. When time permits, we make sure to enjoy the local events around us that make Colorado an inviting and fun place to live.

Palisade Plunge Fundraiser & Funky Clunky Mile Bike Race

Place: Downtown Palisade, Colorado

Date: May 24, 2018

Time: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

The Palisade Plunge is a proposed 30-mile mountain bike trail that drops from the Grand Mesa to the valley floor. In previous years, the city has received funding from a Great Outdoors Colorado grant, but are now being faced with unexpected challenges.

Palisade applied for the $1 million trail construction grant that would allow for construction to begin in 2019, but found out the funding will be unavailable for this year.

Therefore, the town of Palisade is hosting a fundraiser event for the Palisade Plunge. There will be live music by the Bluegrass Offenders and a drink tent in the plaza. You can kick off the summer with some of the locals such as Talon Wine Brands, Talbotts Cider, and the Palisade Brewery. There will also be activities for the kids on 3rd St. such as hula hoops, side walk chalk and jump ropes.

It is National Bike Month, so the Palisade Parks and Recreation are hoping for visitors to arrive on their bikes, dressed in costumes and decorated bikes for the Funky Clunky Mile. The bike race begins at 6:00 at the community center and ends at 2nd St.

Support the biking community and catch some fun in the sun!
